Lingen 2026

The 56th International Exhibition in Lingen was once again a wonderful gathering place for old and new friends. The dogs in Group 6 were judged on Sunday. Ms Galyna Kalinichenko from Ukraine was invited to judge the Coonhounds and Basset Bleus.

She awarded Peter Lünge’s bitch “Cunninghams Black Betty” in the junior class with an ‘Excellent 1’, CAC-J, CAC(VDH)-J, CACIB-J and the title of Best Junior Dog. Betty was introduced by Manuela Bertelt.

Betty’s brother, our ‘Bada Boom’, also received an ‘Excellent 1’ in the junior class, as well as CAC-J, CAC(VDH)-J and CACIB-J.

Our little “Weißwurst” Lülle (“Chestnut Bleu Juliette”) was also awarded Excellent 1, CAC-J, CAC(VDH)-J and CACIB-J in the junior class. She also won the titles of Best Junior Dog and Best of Breed.

As always, all the volunteers and organisers of the CACIB Lingen went to great lengths to put on a thoroughly successful and enjoyable show. However, many participants would have preferred the judges’ reports to be in their previous format, as, at the time of writing, they were unfortunately still not available.

As soon as the judges’ reports finally arrive, we will be able to apply for the title of German Junior Champion (VDH) for Bada Boom and Lülle, and Manuela and Peter will be able to apply for the title of International Junior Champion for Betty.

Apart from that, it was a lovely day with lots of nice chats, a great atmosphere and plenty of fun.
