Cunningham’s Antonov and Al Dente in Genk (BE)
On 11. and January 12, 2025 the Ambiorix Winner exhibition took place in Genk (BE). We set off in frosty but dry weather and presented our two young coonhounds there. The two were exactly 9 months and 6 days old on this day and were therefore allowed to compete in the junior class for the first time.
Tony (Antonov) was able to gain his first experience at the Kerst show in the Netherlands last year and his visits to the dog school and puppy play sessions in Genk made him feel relaxed and at ease.
At Al Dente, there was more of a backlog here. The cheekiness and poise that she displays at home was initially somewhat dampened in the show halls and she was also not as relaxed in the ring as she usually is. But already on this day you could see her growing more and more and later she showed more and more what she is made of in the preliminary and ring of honor. This earned her a place on the shortlist in Group 6 at the age of 9 months.
