Jeanie, the miss “don’t touch me”.

Like Lyssie, Jeanie also came from an animal shelter. She loved all dogs, but was very reserved towards people. She decided who she would let touch her, and only after getting to know them for a reasonable amount of time. This behaviour was a remnant of her terrible past and has not changed.

Jeanie was more like a racehorse than a dog. At least when you looked at the lawn when she really put her foot down. A continuous grassy area was completely overrated, because joie de vivre was much more important.

On 7 January 2026, she left us completely unexpectedly.
